In this episode, we discuss how facing the unknown in life is essential to work through our creative challenges and effectuate change.
We reflect on the the metaphorical example of the feeling you experience before jumping into a cold body of water, and analogize how this type of experience plays out in our lives, such as expressing our opinion to our boss or choosing to finally sit down and write the prelude to a book.
With the main takeaway: the more we jump, the more we allow ourselves to move forward.
Some of the main topics that we touched upon are:
The act of creation is not about the output but more importantly the state we tap into through the process of creating.
Creation and self-expression is a way to tap into higher states of consciousness and being.
Is the way we work too rigid? Does excessive hierarchy diminish collaboration?

In this episode, Daisy opens the conversation by reading a poem she wrote that carries the sentiment of finding love in yourself, which allows you to find love in everything and everyone around you. This sets the tone for the conversation, where we discuss many barriers that impede us from cultivating a sense of wholeness within ourselves.
Those barriers include things like questioning the things we resist. Things like working out, breath work, meditation, or the sudden urge to need to leave the home, to name a few. Is it because these things require us to connect with ourselves? Often times the things we cling to (or avoid) in order to feel better, are impeding on our ability to actually feel good.
We also touch on how seeing others' purest form of self-expression (e.g., music, books, film, art) can help us tap into our own feelings of love and being with oneself.
Join us for an insightful conversation that plants many seeds that nourish the sprouts to connect with yourself, hence tapping into the infinite and everlasting state of loving presence.

In this episode, we discuss how our attachment tendencies and the perpetual desire for more can shape our life experiences, leading to unnecessary suffering. We discuss our relationships with food and partners, among other things, which often drive us to seek fulfillment outside ourselves to fill an internal void.
We also explore the concept of impermanence in life, emphasizing how an understanding of life's transient nature can allow us to truly appreciate and enjoy our experiences without clinging to them.

In this episode, we open with a quote from Sophie's recent meditation: "There comes a time in life when the beauty of nature becomes enough."
This prompts us to reflect on moments when we've hurried through experiences, like waiting in grocery lines or enduring flight delays, longing for time to pass.
We discuss how practicing patience can shift our focus from personal frustrations to the present moment, turning mundane situations into opportunities for mindful presence.
Patience emerges as a powerful tool in navigating these moments, fostering a deeper connection with the world and bringing greater fulfillment in life.

Why are we always looking at other people for insight on how we should act? Why are we so scared of being perceived by others? In this episode, we discuss the fear of expressing ourselves, particularly in regard to expressing ourselves online and in a creative realm, but also touch upon being ourselves around others in a place like a yoga class.
We discuss the importance of freeing ourselves from our own judgments, and recognizing that the fear of being perceived by others is really just a fear of being perceived by ourselves.

We begin this episode by reflecting on our experience of having left our jobs close to a year ago.
We recognized that this journey began with the premise of changing careers, and more importantly, it started out being about us and where we were going.
We quickly realized that it is no longer about either of those; it has become about so much more: connection, conscious creation, the collective, and much more.
We discuss the experience of transitioning from seeking value based on how much money we’re making to asking ourselves, 'How am I contributing meaningfully to others' lives?' We question what it means to build a meaningful life.
We move away from defining a meaningful life based off external factors that reinforce our identity, such as our job, the quality of our clothes, or the cuteness of our dog. Instead, we open ourselves up to the flow of the collective and let that guide our next steps.
Join us for an insightful conversation where we redefine what it means to live a meaningful life.

Have you ever noticed how much your preferences and expectations of how life should go control you and get in the way of feeling content?
It can be really easy for intense emotions and thoughts to lead us to react in ways that don't truly reflect who we are. We end up living life controlled by our reactions, constantly reacting when things in life don’t go as planned.
In this episode, we explore the power of mindfulness in distinguishing between our automatic responses and our true selves.
By becoming aware of our preferences and how they shape our reactions, we uncover a path to freedom where choices are made with clarity and intention, not dictated by fleeting feelings.
Join us as we discuss how to step back, observe, and choose mindfully, finding liberation in recognizing that we are not our thoughts or emotions, but something far greater.
